Softball Recap: North Butler Gets the Win

While North Butler's victory against AGWSR wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearcats had just enough and edged out the Cougars 5-3. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

North Butler now has a winning record of 9-8. As for AGWSR, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, North Butler will head out to square off against Northwood-Kensett at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.67 runs per game on average), something the Bearcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for AGWSR, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grundy Center at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
