Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jesuit). They put the hurt on the Bishop Gorman Gaels with a sharp 12-3 win on Thursday. The Marauders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 10-1).
Jordan Walczykowski was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Javier Ramirez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Jesuit always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
