The Blair Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Monrovia Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Blair suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against South Pasadena, falling 90-21. While losing is never fun, Blair can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1217th, while South Pasadena is ranked 55th).
Meanwhile, Monrovia's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 58-35 loss at the hands of Temple City. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Monrovia has suffered against Temple City since April 23, 2021.
Blair has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Monrovia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
