Norwalk's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Celine Zavala, who went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Zavala a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Anahi Rodriguez, who posted nine points and three steals.
Leading Dominguez to victory were MYA HARRIS and NGOZI OKOYE. HARRIS dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while OKOYE almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Norwalk has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Dominguez, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
