Oroville is 0-4 against Enterprise since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Oroville Tigers will square off against the Enterprise Hornets at 4:00 p.m. Hopefully Oroville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
Oroville couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 38-29 to Durham.
Despite the loss, Oroville had strong showings from Serenity Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 steals, and Leila Jackson, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
Meanwhile, everything went Enterprise's way against Fall River on Tuesday as Enterprise made off with a 56-35 victory.
Enterprise's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eden Garnaas, who scored 13 points along with 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tianna Lowe, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Enterprise, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Oroville came up short against Enterprise when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 44-35. Can Oroville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
