Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Sierra to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stephanie Adecer, who scored 15 points along with 7 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Adecer has scored at least 25% of La Sierra's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mar?kia Picart-washington, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The win got La Sierra back to even at 2-2. As for Rubidoux, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
La Sierra will head out on the road to face off against Cathedral City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rubidoux, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bloomington is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
