The Cochranton Cardinals won the last time they faced the Youngsville Eagles, and things went their way  on Monday too. Cochranton enjoyed a cozy  44-26 win over Youngsville.
  Eve Pfeiffer was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 19 points along with nine  steals and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shelby Mcbryar, who  scored six points along with nine  rebounds and six  steals.
 The  victory  got Cochranton back to even at 8-8. As for Youngsville, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-8.
 Cochranton will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Union City at 7:15  p.m. Union City is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games. As for Youngsville, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Maplewood at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Maplewood will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
