Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benedictine). They put the hurt on the New Hampstead Phoenix with a sharp 7-0 victory on Thursday. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Phoenix are ranked 309th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Benedictine's offense was hitting New Hampstead from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Parker Lewis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
