The Tulelake Honkers are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Lost River Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Tulelake took a serious blow against Tournament Opponent, falling 72-41.
Despite the loss, Tulelake saw an underclassman step up: Na'Tali Idrogo scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Makenzie Perez, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Meanwhile, Lost River had to suffer through a rough 56-17 loss at the hands of New Hope Christian.
The losses dropped Tulelake to 2-2 and Tournament Opponent to 17-42.
Tulelake didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lost River when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tulelake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
