Severance had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mountain View Mountain Lions as they made off with a 19-1 victory. Considering the Silver Knights have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Elizabeth Stimatze made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Deja Jackson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Kenzy Henneke, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Severance kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are undefeated (10-0) when they post 11 or more hits.
