Despite the loss, New Castle still got an impressive performance from Emma Hart, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 50% of New Castle's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaidyn Minyard, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
It was another big night for Gabby Douglass, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten steals for Anderson. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Brown, who scored 15 points along with eight assists and two steals.
New Castle has been struggling recently, as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season. As for Anderson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.
New Castle will take on Hamilton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hamilton Heights is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. Anderson on the road again on Tuesday and play against Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
