The El Camino Wildcats were the 84-17 winner over the West Hills Wolf Pack when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. El Camino took a 48-33 bruising from West Hills on Thursday. While losing is never fun, El Camino can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1053rd, while West Hills is ranked 487th).
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Meleiah Jones, who scored six points. Aleigha Tatum was another key contributor, scoring four points.
El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Hills, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
