Volleyball Recap: Arria Chatman Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

McKinney's tournament run continued when they took on Iowa Colony on Friday. The Lions came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McKinney to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arria Chatman, who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave Chatman a new career-high.

McKinney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Iowa Colony, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, McKinney and Iowa Colony will both be playing Seguin the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Matadors at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
