The Shelton Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Harvard at home to the tune of 71-24. Shelton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Harvard still got an impressive performance from Taylor Braun, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Shelton, bringing their record for this year to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Harvard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
Shelton will face off against Wilcox-Hildreth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Wilcox-Hildreth: 28, Shelton: 29.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Harvard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
