Burroughs never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Monroe Vikings with a sharp 10-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Burroughs, bringing their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Monroe, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Burroughs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary on the 10th. As for Monroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against Bravo on the 12th.
