Mission Vista and the El Camino Wildcats combined for 11 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive nine total goals scored. Mission Vista ended up on the wrong side of a rough 6-3 walloping at the hands of El Camino. Fernanda Rodriguez probably wasn't too happy after the contest: she scored every single goal for Mission Vista and still walked away on the losing team.
Mission Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-5. As for El Camino, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8-2 record this season.
Mission Vista will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Oceanside at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Oceanside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for El Camino, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Dieguito Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Camino will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something San Dieguito Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
