Miller is a perfect 10-0 against Pacific since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rebels will face off against the Pirates at 3:45 p.m. Miller is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
While Miller's win against Indian Springs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the COYOTES 8-6.
Fabian Baldovinos-Vega got the start for Miller and what a start it was: he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jayden Mendez, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was David Trujillo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Pacific made easy work of Entrepreneur on Friday and carried off a 13-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.
Jonathan Munoz made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Ulises Villa was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Pacific: the team is 4-0-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-12 otherwise. Anthony Lopez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Pacific always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in three consecutive games.
Miller's record is now 15-4. As for Pacific, their record now sits at 7-12-1.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Miller has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .493. However, it's not like Pacific struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Miller skirted past Pacific 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
