Agricultural Science and Hancock are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cyclones will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Agricultural Science knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Hancock likes a good challenge.
Agricultural Science took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Little Village as they made off with a 16-2 victory. That looming 16-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cyclones yet this season.
Aiden Kessenich was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played.

Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Agricultural Science has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .535. However, it's not like Hancock struggles in that department as they've averaged .435. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Agricultural Science came up short against Hancock when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 15-11. Can the Cyclones avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
