Workman has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Azusa Aztecs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Workman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Workman ended up a good deal behind St. Lucy's and lost 39-21.
Meanwhile, Azusa's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 47-24 defeat at the hands of Sierra Vista. Azusa has struggled against Sierra Vista recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Workman bumped their record down to 3-18 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Azusa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
