The Fargo Davies Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fargo Davies is not getting complacent, as they comes into the match much higher ranked than Legacy in North Dakota (Fargo Davies is ranked eighth, while Legacy is ranked 43rd).
Last Friday, everything went Fargo Davies' way against Century as Fargo Davies made off with a 28-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Fargo Davies, who have now won three games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Zach Lilly was his usual excellent self, rushing for 84 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Malachi Werremeyer and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Fargo Davies' win.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Legacy, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They took a hard 38-21 fall against St. Mary's Central on Friday.
Despite their loss, Legacy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Connor Lang, who rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all.
Fargo Davies' victory bumped their season record to 4-4 while Legacy's loss dropped theirs to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Fargo Davies against Legacy in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 35-7 victory. Does Fargo Davies have another victory up their sleeve, or will Legacy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
