It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Eisenhower Eagles can now relate to. Their tough 66-41 defeat to the Brahmas on Thursday might stick with them for a while. The match was a close 23-21 at the break, but unfortunately for Eisenhower it sure didn't stay that way.
Eisenhower lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Camiya Horton, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ti'Shay Dumas, who scored 11 points.
Eisenhower has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Diamond Bar, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 23-4.
Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Diamond Bar, they will head out on the road to face off against Shadow Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shadow Hills is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
