Coldspring-Oakhurst aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Tuesday extended their overall winning streak to three. They walked away with a 59-49 victory over Trinity. Given Coldspring-Oakhurst's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Trinity is ranked 991st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Shepherd has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.
Things could have been worse for Shepherd, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-45 loss to Coldspring-Oakhurst when the teams last played back in January.
