Basketball Recap: Eric Dibami's Big Game Can't Quite Lead ABF Academy over Coral Gables

ABF Academy suffered their closest loss since February 5th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Coral Gables Cavaliers by a score of 66-63.

Several Cowboys players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eric Dibami, who posted 21 points. Dibami's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Paez, who put up 17 points.

ABF Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Coral Gables, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

ABF Academy will take on Wilson Academy in a tournament on December 26th. ABF Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Wilson Academy likes a good challenge. Coral Gables will take on Mariner in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
