Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Barnum Bombers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-0 to Moose Lake/Willow River, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Barnum has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Hayden Charboneau threw for 118 yards on 11 of 25 attempts. Carlos Beckstrand was his top target, gaining 89 total yards.
Barnum's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Barnum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Moose Lake/Willow River will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Eden Valley-Watkins at 7:00 p.m. on November 9th. Eden Valley-Watkins is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
