Los Amigos can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past Samueli Academy 52-21 at home.
Madeleine Nguyen was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 16 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Mandy Le was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for El Modena in a 49-35 win over Santa Ana Valley on Monday.
Los Amigos' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for El Modena, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
