It was a good run, but the Central City Value Jaguars unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 25-24 to Aspire Ollin. Despite the loss, Central City Value still got an impressive performance from Elise Logan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Logan hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Pacheco, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Central City Value's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Aspire Ollin, their win bumped their record up to 3-13.
Central City Value will head out on the road to square off against the Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aspire Ollin, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Suns at 2:30 p.m. Downtown Magnets comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 13 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
