McClatchy let Taylor Blaszczynski and Antonio Barber run wild. Blaszczynski earned one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Barber went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Blaszczynski has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Franklin not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 15-0). Everything went their way against Enochs as they made off with a 15-2 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Dylan Minnatee made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Minnatee was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

McClatchy's victory bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 20-8-1.
McClatchy's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Lions have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Franklin, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will McClatchy continue to outrun the ball?
McClatchy came out on top in a nail-biter against Franklin in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
