Northeastern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauralye Kennedy led the charge by scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Nylah Davis, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Conrad Weiser's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Northeastern, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
