Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the St. Anthony Saints walked away with it. They strolled past the Wolfpack with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 68-50. The win was familiar territory for St. Anthony who now have five in a row.
St. Anthony's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryann Bennett, who scored 20 points along with five assists and three steals. Bennett has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Melaiah Joseph was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
St. Anthony's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7.
