Rockdale County pushed their record up to 8-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Grovetown, their record is now 9-13.
Grovetown beat Rockdale County 9-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grovetown since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
