The Campbell Hall Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Windward at home and fell 78-38. Despite the loss, Campbell Hall saw an underclassman step up: Lailaa Williams dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Sophia Mevorakh was another key contributor, scoring three points.
Campbell Hall has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Windward, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
Campbell Hall will head out on the road to take on Notre Dame (SO) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windward, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brentwood School at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Brentwood School's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
