Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palos Verdes). Everything went their way against the Narbonne Gauchos on Monday as the Palos Verdes Sea Kings made off with an 8-2 win. The Sea Kings not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.
Christian Reis looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, RJ Paddock was incredible, scoring a run while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Zane, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
With the victory, Palos Verdes broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7. As for Narbonne, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Coming up, Palos Verdes will face off against Redondo Union at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Narbonne, they will head out to square off against Legacy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
