It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the South Oak Cliff Bears had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against Melissa by a score of 38-30. The win was familiar territory for South Oak Cliff who now have nine in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Danny Green Jr, who rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns.
South Oak Cliff's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Melissa, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 10-2.
South Oak Cliff will take on Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian Heritage is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Melissa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
