After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tahlequah, Bishop Kelley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the McAlester Buffaloes with a sharp 13-1 win. Considering the Comets have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bishop Kelley's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for McAlester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 18 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season.

Bishop Kelley has already played their next contest, a 10-1 defeat against Tahlequah on the 9th. McAlester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
