Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leuzinger). They blew past the Morningside Monarchs 31-1 on Thursday. The Olympians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Leuzinger has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Morningside, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leuzinger will welcome Lawndale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Cardinals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Morningside, they will be playing at home against Beverly Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Normans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.06 runs per game on average), something the Monarchs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
