On Saturday, the Eureka Loggers's game was all tied up 34-34 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Mt. Shasta by a score of 65-53.
It was another big night for Julian Goodman, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Estrada, who scored eight points.
Eureka's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mt. Shasta, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.
Eureka is on the road again on Thursday and play against Del Norte at 7:30 a.m. on January 4th. As for Mt. Shasta, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
