Given Fontana's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Jurupa Hills is ranked 1235th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Arroyo Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Grand Terrace, falling 52-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Arroyo Valley has suffered yet this season.
Fontana's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Arroyo Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
