It was a good run, but Lake-Lehman unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.

Lake-Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Lake-Lehman will square off against Holy Redeemer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they are taking a road trip to take on Northwestern Lehigh at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Northwestern Lehigh knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Notre Dame-Green Pond likes a good challenge.
