The Sonora Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 71-39 victory over Summerville. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for Sonora this season.
Adeline Hanson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-10 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 26 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Taylor Faught was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with four steals.
The victory (which was Sonora's third in a row) raised their record to 14-12. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Summerville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sonora will take on the Red Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summerville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. Argonaut is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
