After a string of three wins, the Solebury Spartans's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. Their tough 56-30 loss to Kimberton Waldorf might stick with them for a while.
Leading Kimberton Waldorf to victory were Camron Nixon and Ciara O'Hara. Nixon dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while O'Hara scored 22 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was O'Hara's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Kira Sorzano was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Solebury's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Kimberton Waldorf, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
Solebury will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The City School at 4:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Kimberton Waldorf won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on December 13th.
