Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gorham). They blew past the Westbrook Blue Blazes 14-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Wyatt Washburn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, two runs, and four stolen bases. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Izak Stevens, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since May 1st. Hunter Finck was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
