After losing to the Upper Moreland Bears the last time they met, the New Hope-Solebury Lions decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. New Hope-Solebury secured a 40-36 W over Upper Moreland on Tuesday.
Leading New Hope-Solebury to victory were Emily Wilson and Nina Meixler. Wilson scored 11 points, while Meixler scored 12 points. Meixler continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
New Hope-Solebury's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for Upper Moreland, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
New Hope-Solebury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upper Moreland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 39-29 win vs. Hatboro-Horsham on the 8th.
