The Frontier Titans can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Stockdale with a sharp 55-29 victory. Given Frontier's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Stockdale is ranked 1063rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Frontier got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexis Tinnin out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Tinnin hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lailene Araniva, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Frontier's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Stockdale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Frontier will be playing at home against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockdale, they will head out on the road to square off against Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
