It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but the Red Lion Lions ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. Everything went their way against Conestoga Valley as Red Lion made off with a  66-45 win. That's another feather in the cap for Red Lion, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Red Lion had a senior duo take command as  Grace Masser  scored 24 points along with 3  steals and  Brooke Carr  scored 11 points along with 7  assists and 5  rebounds.  Julia Sedora was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 7  rebounds and 3  blocks.
 Red Lion's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Conestoga Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Red Lion will head out on the road to face off against Chambersburg at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Conestoga Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Penn Manor at 7:30  p.m.  on January 2, 2024.
