Brock Foulds was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Los Osos sidestepped Chino Hills for a 3-1 win.
Wyatt Mohler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mohler was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Los Osos got a great performance from Gavin Loeb-Keene as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, Loeb-Keene posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Hunter Meyer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Los Osos hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.
Los Osos' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Rancho Cucamonga has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Los Osos struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
