The Colony Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Beaumont Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Colony will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Colony had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Garden Grove on Saturday. Colony was the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Garden Grove. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Steven Gonzales, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Garden Grove off the board. The dominant performance gave Gonzales a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Elijah Ybanez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Brody Litwin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Beaumont came up short against King on Saturday and fell 11-6. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lucas Lugo was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Johnnie Gill and Adam Nelson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gill scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Nelson got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Gill also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season.
Beaumont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Colony, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Colony's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. Colony has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Beaumont, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Colony continue to outrun the ball?
