The Trinity Hillers were the 79-59 winner over the Chartiers Valley Colts when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Trinity took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chartiers Valley. It was the first time this season that Trinity let down their fans at home.
Rachel Boehm was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Iyla Ozbey, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Trinity's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Chartiers Valley, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Trinity will be playing at home against Lincoln Park Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Park Performing Arts will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Chartiers Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Canon-McMillan at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Canon-McMillan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Thursday.
