The Ontario Christian Knights stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to Woodcrest Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 103-20 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Ontario Christian sure is getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Kaleena Smith was her usual excellent self, scoring 45 points along with seven assists and seven steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ontario Christian's points. Legacy Benjamin was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals.
Ontario Christian pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 99.8 points per game. As for Woodcrest Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ontario Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against San Joaquin Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will face off against Arrowhead Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Arrowhead Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Friday.
