The Pitman Pride struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Patterson Tigers had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Pitman was beaten by Patterson 56-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pitman has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Pitman had strong showings from Tusi Elisaia, who scored two points along with three steals, and Megan Deol, who scored two points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Patterson had a senior duo take command as Siena Musson scored 18 points along with six rebounds and Taylor Mason scored 15 points. The contest was Musson's third in a row with at least ten points. Geeanna Catubig was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Pitman and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Patterson, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Pitman will head out on the road to face off against Escalon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Escalon is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Patterson, they will be playing at home against Ripon Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ripon Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 648th, while Patterson is ranked 45th).
