Tiverton came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Rogers, falling 12-5.
Kamryn Rego stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kyle Rogers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Juanita Sanchez Complex got themselves on the board against Times Squared Academy on Tuesday, but Times Squared Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Eagles.
George Padilla made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Padilla was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game.
In other pitching news, Ethan Guilon looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Isaiah Bento-Vasquez was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Hilario, who scored a run while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tiverton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Juanita Sanchez Complex struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tiverton took their victory against Juanita Sanchez Complex in their previous meeting back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 14-7 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
